ENVIRO-BTEX UNITS

Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene or BTEX are environmentally harmful chemicals that offgas during the high temperature glycol dehydration process. The BTEX unit captures these chemicals in their vapor form and cools them down to condense them into an easily manageable liquid form. BTEX unit inlets are attached to the Glycol regenerator's Still column. Also known as BTEX's, BTEX busters, BTEX units. BTEX units are environmentally friendly and also improve safety in and around the glycol regenerator.
