COMBUSTOR UNITS

A Combustor is a gas burn unit that burns off waste gas normally from the venting system for the tanks. Combustors are placed at the end of the process stream to burn waste gas. Also known as Ground flares, Incinerators, and another unit that can be added to the combustor group but has a high efficiency is a Thermal Oxidizer.Combustors can claim a 99% destruction rate but typically handle much less volumes compared to a flare. They also hide the flame from view which in some cases is regulated by local municipalites.
